What’s going on? You guys? Back at it again with another video. I’m here, I’m changing it up a little bit here. I’m gonna discuss the five compelling reasons why you need to use SEO for your dispensary. Now, number one, there are no other marketing activities available. Marketing restrictions around cannabis products vary by country and by state, but generally, there’re strict regulations in place due to the status of cannabis.

And in many countries in states, cannabis is still illegal. And even where it is legal, there are still strict regulations in place around how it can be marketed. Now in the United States, for example, cannabis is still illegal under federal law, but some states have legalized it for medical or recreational use.

However, the marketing and advertising of cannabis products are subject to strict regulations by federal and state agencies. So somewhere in Canada where cannabis is legal for both medical and recreational use, the marketing of cannabis products is still heavily regulated. Advertising is only allowed in certain places, such as inside cannabis stores or online through licensed cannabis retailers.

So it poses a massive problem. But you know where we can advertise your dispensary? That’s on Google. And I’m not talking about with paid ads, I’m talking about optimizing for Google’s algorithm to rank your website higher so people can see you more often, which then brings me to my next point. Two, you have high volume, high intent, and credibility.

So seo, as you know, or search engine optimization, is a process of optimizing your online presence to show up higher in the Google rankings so that whenever somebody types in dispensary near me, you show up higher on Google where people click. And since you’re visible to the customers who are already searching for cannabis products, traffic that comes from Google is far more valuable than any forms of traffic that come from social media or even paid advertising because these customers already have a high intent to buy from you.

SU also helps establish a business as an authority in its industry. So when a website ranks highly on search engines, it could give the impression that the business is a reputable and trustworthy source of information. Now this can help build credibility and trust with potential customers leading to increased brand awareness and loyalty.

Aside from all of those points, everybody uses Google to find products and services that they’re looking for when it comes to physical goods, physical locations, or services. Cuz think about the last time you wanted to find something to eat. That’s right, you Googled it. Looking for dispensaries is exactly the same, and it’s the number one driver of sales for dispensaries by far.

Now, number three, paid marketing stops working once you stop paying for it. Now, I went through this tons of de, I went through this in tons of detail in my last video on how Weedmaps might actually be heard in your business. But in a nutshell, paid advertising stops once you stop paying for it. SEO helps continue driving traffic to your website to increase your overall brand, where you can then funnel customers to your loyalty program to then get them to stay even longer.

Now, with paid advertising, it only gets more and more expensive as time goes on because you’re either trying to market to a colder audience as you scale. And by colder audience, I mean that it’s an audience that has less relevance to your business. Think about increasing marketing budget to market to a customer who’s further and further away from your store.

Now, not only with that, you have increased competition, which comes with increased fees and with more competition, you are just going to pay more and more money. Now, trust me, you don’t want to get stuck in the hamster wheel of only using paid advertising for your business. It’s incredibly hard as your margins get slowly deteriorated as it’s just becomes way too late now.

Number four, it’s cost effective and scalable. Complete opposite to paid ads. SEO’s much more cost effective and scalable as you want to advertise. More placements need, you need to continue paying more. Right now, when you think of ranking from Google, I want you to think not only of your homepage ranking on Google, but every single page on your website, having the opportunity to rank for, you know, whatever keywords that you wanna rank for.

Now, let’s say for example, you own five locations and then you deliver to 10 separate neighborhoods. We can then create 15 separate pages on your website and optimize it for high volume keywords such as LA dispensary and la we delivery. What then happens is that you have 15 pages that rank on Google for highly relevant keywords that will be guaranteed to increase sales for all of your locations and also increase those delivery orders.

Now number five, you get together customer data on your website. Since SEO helps drive customers to your website, you’re free to funnel those customers to any other promotions you have available. Maybe it’s for a grand opening for a new store, increasing loyalty signups, or even promotional discounts on new products.

What this does is it helps increase brand loyalty and therefore increase customer LTV or lifetime value. Our job isn’t just to increase unique sales, but we want to increase total sales. If we can get customers to purchase more frequently or increase the duration that they continue spending money with you, that’s a huge win.

We can also better understand customer attribution, meaning we can understand where customers come from by analyzing our own customer data on our own website. And this is also huge because we can then determine the reasons why customers decide to shop with us and then use this data for even more effective marketing activities.

So in summary, the five reasons why your dispensary needs SEO are, one, there are no other marketing activities available. Two, high volume intent and credibility are given from seo. Three paid marketing stops working once you stop paying for it. And four, cost effective, it’s cost effective and scalable.

And five, you gotta gather customer data on your website. Now, if you like this video and you wanna accelerate your dispensary growth, you can grab the free marketing checklist and guide in the description below. But that’s it for me for today. I hope you like this change in format. You know, I wanted to do something different than just read off the PDF guide that I created, but if you want me to go to that format, just just let me know.

But like I said, that’s it for me from today and talk to you guys later. Hi.
